Snow White and the Huntsman 2?

Universal’s planned ‘Snow White and the Huntsman' follow-up is still in development, just without Snow White. Reports indicate that Kristen Stewart will not be in it, and instead the story will focus on Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman. [source]

Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky Expecting Baby #1

It looks like 2012 is going to be a great year for Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, 28, and his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky, 35!

The couple - who wed back in December 2010 - recently announced to ¡Hola! that they are expecting their first child together.

"Born in the spring. Chris and I are delighted, very happy and excited," the Fast Five actress says.

"We do not know the sex of the baby, prefer to be a surprise," she continues. "We do not care boy or girl, our only desire is to be healthy."

The couple may not be finding out the gender of the baby but one thing is for sure, Elsa wants her little one to speak Spanish.

"I will only speak Spanish," she says. "I told my husband, ‘Rock out with Spanish quickie because if not, you will not understand what we say."

Chris - who will be reprising his role as the Norse god Thor in The Avengers this year - has apparently been nothing short of a doting husband to Elsa during her pregnancy, making sure all of her cravings are satisfied. And speaking of cravings, the actress claims that since becoming pregnant, she has developed a sweet tooth.

"Everything healthy that I liked, now I do not like, suddenly, I just crave sweets all the world, burgers and chips. I’ve never eaten popcorn and pregnancy take them all the time. "

Congrats again to the happy couple! [SOURCE]

Chris Hemsworth Talks THE AVENGERS, Praises Joss Whedon And More!

Conducted while filming for Marvel’s The Avengers was underway, immediately prior to filming an action scene, Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth discussed his godly reprisal as ‘Thor,’ with FilmInk. Dotting on the Mighty Avenger’s contribution to the story and Joss Whedon’s “impressive” directorship, read on below!

"This movie is much more of an ensemble piece than Thor, obviously," the actor says. "It’s been a trip. In a strange way, Thor finally fits in because he’s not the only guy dressed up in a strange costume." And speaking of costumes, Hemsworth smiles saying, "This time it’s sleeveless, so it’s more of a summer number," he laughs.

Rehashing on Thor’s contribution to the story, he says "Thor has more of a personal investment. It’s not just some bad guy that he’s gotta take care of; for him, it’s family. There’s a sense of,’I’ll beat him up and teach him a lesson, not you guys.’ It’s the first time in ages since he’s seen his brother, and it’s amongst all this chaos."

"I’m hugely impressed with how Joss Whedon has worked all these characters into the story. I was asking myself, ‘How is it going to work?’ But Joss is a genius in the way that he’s written this. All the characters get their time, and it ends up being a very iconic collaboration. We’ve watched these characters grow individually on screen, and to see them come together is really exciting."

Marvel’s The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel’s The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

With lots of The Avengers related movie news hitting this past week, in addition to just about every other comic book movie coming out with something as well, why not another interesting tidbit?

Tom Hiddleston revealed in an interview that his character, Loki, will go head to head vs. The Incredible Hulk. Apparently, the actors that play the Assemblers swap “war” stories and compare who has the bigger bruise. Hiddleston shared this little fact with Scotsman.com, and revealed one of his battle wounds came from a tussle with Mark Ruffalo’s Incredible Hulk.
